The Premier League season is nearly upon us - just a few more days to go before the big kick-off. What should everyone expect at the top, though?
Manchester City are very similar to what they were last season with some tweaks, while Arsenal have made a couple of upgrades but largely stuck with what they had. Liverpool, however, are another story.

They're both identical and completely different. There have been zero new signings, a fact highlighted by Martin Zubimendi rejecting them on Monday. The Reds are the only Premier League club without an arrival and the only difference in their squad is that Joel Matip, Thiago Alcantara and Adrian all left at the end of their contracts.
But things will be different nonetheless. Arne Slot is the new head coach and has a new way of playing - one that looked very exciting in the 4-1 win over Sevilla last Sunday.
What should we expect of this season, then?

Well, Jamie Carragher believes Liverpool will be where they were last season. He's predicting a repeat of a third-placed finish in the Premier League, with Manchester City and Arsenal finishing first and second respectively.
Joining them in the top 4? Tottenham Hotspur, who would replace Aston Villa as Unai Emery's side dropped to sixth. Manchester United would sandwich themselves between the two.
This comes after Carragher talked down Liverpool's title chances to FourFourTwo. He feels the Reds overperformed last season, coming far closer to the title than he thought they could.
Slot would do well to repeat that, he says. In other words, Carragher can't see Liverpool improving on last season - but doesn't believe they'll regress, either.
Now, if only the club could provide Slot with a major signing...
