Every Liverpool player set to feature at Euro 2024 - 4 confirmed, 8 waiting

Here’s every Liverpool player named to a squad for Euro 2024. Four have been confirmed while another eight are in provisional squads.

Liverpool will be well-represented at the European Championships this summer. The Reds will certainly have four players at the tournament - that's confirmed - and another eight have a chance of making it with their respective countries.

Those eight have been named to provisional squads that will be trimmed down ahead of the Euros. So here's everyone named to one of those lists.

Confirmed Liverpool players at Euro 2024

The Netherlands

Virgil van Dijk (c), Cody Gakpo, Ryan Gravenberch

Van Dijk and Gakpo were always going - the former is the Dutch captain, after all. Gravenberch, though, is a surprise.

It appeared he'd ruined his chances after falling out of the setup last September. The midfielder rejected an Under 21 call-up, leaving Ronald Koeman thoroughly unimpressed.

But they've ultimately decided to take him to Germany. Gravenberch will be heading to Euro 2024 - and what an opportunity that is.

Portugal

Diogo Jota

No surprise here. Jota's injury problems this season may bring about questions of how much he'll play this summer but there was never any doubt he'd make Portugal's squad.

Liverpool players in provisional Euro 2024 squads

England

Trent Alexander-Arnold, Joe Gomez, Curtis Jones, Jarell Quansah

Jones and Quansah were the surprises here. Neither have received England call-ups before - and that does make you question whether they'll be named to the full squad.

It feels a little more likely that Quansah would get the nod, simply because centre-back isn't the most secure place in the squad. Jones, on the other hand, may feel a little close in type to other players in the squad.

Alexander-Arnold and Gomez, though, will surely make it.

Scotland

Andy Robertson, Ben Doak

Robertson, of course, will be going. He's the Scotland captain and will lead his country at the tournament.

Doak, though, was a complete surprise. No senior call-ups to date, and only 30 combined minutes of Premier League action. He also saw his season ended prematurely through injury.

But Steve Clarke wants a look at him. It's still a long shot that he goes to Germany but Doak has a chance.

Hungary

Dominik Szoboszlai

Another definite here. Szoboszlai is the captain of Hungary and their star player - there's absolutely no chance he's left out.

He'll also be playing an interesting role for his country and it's one we wonder if Arne Slot will keep an eye on. A massive tournament for Szoboszlai as he and Hungary look to spring some surprises.

France

Ibrahima Konaté

The centre-back fell out of the first-choice XI at Liverpool towards the back end of the season, with Quansah preferred by Jurgen Klopp. He's in the France squad, however - as he has been for a while now.

We fully expect Konaté to go and maybe use the tournament as a way to get back on track.
