Extent of Bradley damage revealed as Reds reel from ANOTHER injury blow

It is expected that Conor Bradley will be out for up to THREE WEEKS following an injury sustained against Crystal Palace on Sunday.

The 20-year-old right back suffered an ankle injury in a clash with Palace’s Eberechi Eze just moments after the start of the second half during Liverpool’s 1-0 Premier League loss

Bradley limped off to be consoled by Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp, with the returning Trent Alexander-Arnold coming on to replace him.

Klopp wasn’t giving much away about the knock in his post-match press conference with Bradley being sent for a scan on Monday

And now Sky Sports reports that it could be next month before the Northern Ireland international is again spotted in Liverpool colours.

Liverpool's bid for a quadruple has been severely hampered by injuries this season, with the likes of Alisson Becker, Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Ibrahima Konate, Joel Matip, Stefan Bajcetic, Thiago Alcantara, Dominik Szoboszlai, Curtis Jones, Diogo Jota and Mohamed Salah all facing extensive spells on the sidelines.

Bradley's incredible rookie season

Bradley has been a bright spark in the season for Liverpool, admirably stepping into the breach when Alexander-Arnold sustained a knee injury in January and again in February.

Having enjoyed a fruitful loan spell at Bolton Wanderers last season, Bradley has played 22 times for the Reds’ first team this season, winning great acclaim.

He has played 10 times in the Premier League, providing three assists and opening his goalscoring account back in January in a game against Chelsea.

Although Liverpool are again well-stocked at right back, with Alexander-Arnold back and Joe Gomez capable of deputising if needed, they will miss Bradley, who has made a strong impact during his time with the first team.

He will miss Thursday’s Europa League quarter-final, second leg against Atalanta in Bergamo and there are Premier League games against Fulham, Everton and West Ham before the month is out.

Liverpool’s title charge has faltered in recent weeks due to a draw against Manchester United and Sunday’s defeat to Palace.

They will be hoping to get back on track with a landmark European performance before facing the Cottagers at the weekend.
