Liverpool attacker Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has been ruled out of the EFL Cup tie with Arsenal tomorrow night after he picked up an injury last weekend.
The player got himself on the scoresheet back on Sunday with the Reds beating Brentford 3-0 but minutes after he had scored the second goal of the game he found himself clutching his ankle.
Indeed, he had rolled it and had to come off and though it is not as bad as it perhaps looked to start with, he is not going to be featuring tomorrow night against the Gunners:

Anfield Watch Verdict
This is a shame for Oxlade-Chamberlain as he would have been well within a shout of playing tomorrow night.
That is how it goes, though, and he'll instead have to watch from the sidelines.
At least he is not being ruled out for too long.
