Liverpool are reportedly ready to 'reignite' their interest in midfielder valued at €30 million

Liverpool are set to 'reignite' their interest in Lille and Portugal midfielder Renato Sanches, according to Italian outlet CalcioMercato, as cited by Liverpool FC News on Twitter.

The Reds were linked with a move for the 24-year-old last summer. However, the aforementioned transfer never materialised.

Despite that being the case, Liverpool reportedly remain interested in Sanches.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

Sanches is a talented player. The midfielder has found the back of the net five times and registered six assists in 67 appearances for Lille.

Sanches also averaged a WhoScored player rating of 6.89 at the 2020 Euros. The aforementioned figures highlight that the Portugal international is a capable senior footballer.

As we have already pointed out, Sanches is only 24 years of age. Therefore, it would be fair to assume that the midfielder still has plenty of room left for improvement.

We do hope that Liverpool sign the talented youngster in the near future.

Sanches' contract expires in the summer of 2023. He possesses a current market value of €30 million.
