Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Adama Traore in January

Liverpool would like to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore in January, according to 90Min journalist Graeme Bailey, as cited by Anfield Edition's Twitter account.

The report states that the Spain international does not intend on signing a new deal with Wolves. Traore's current contract expires in the summer of 2023. With that being the case, the Premier League side are open to selling the 25-year-old.

The report further adds that Wolves want no less than £30 million for Traore. However, the Reds believe that the forward is not worth the aforementioned fee.

ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT

We don't want to see Liverpool make a move for Traore. The reality is, the winger does not score or create enough goals.

Traore has scored 10 goals and registered 18 assists in 143 appearances for Wolves. Therefore, we are confident that the Reds could sign a better winger than Traore.

Only time will tell if Liverpool are genuinely interested in signing the Spain international.
