Liverpool face another dreaded 12:30 kick-off this Saturday as they travel to Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Despite Jurgen Klopp loathing the early time slot, Liverpool are unbeaten in the early kick-off this season. The Reds have beaten Wolverhampton Wanderers and Everton, while also holding Manchester City to a draw at the Etihad.
Selhurst Park will prove another test of Liverpool's title credentials, the Reds having managed nervy but rewarding back-to-back victories over Fulham and Sheffield United.
However, Palace are in torrid form of late, winning just one of their last eight matches. Roy Hodgson's side haven't tasted victory since a 2-0 win over Burnley back in early November and have lost to Everton, Luton Town and Bournemouth since then.
Hodgson and his team will not be looking forward to Liverpool's visit this Saturday as the Reds hunt down Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.
Let's take a look at Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp's head-to-head record against the Eagles.
LIVERPOOL VS CRYSTAL PALACE H2H RECORD
Liverpool's recent record against Crystal Palace is remarkable. Despite the Eagles having briefly been the Reds' bogey team, that has significantly changed in the past few years.
The Reds are unbeaten against the London side in their last 13 matches, winning 11 in a row between April 2017 and January 2022. The only tow blemishes on this run came last season, the Reds slumping to disappointing draws home and away against the Eagles.
Out of 62 total meetings between the two teams dating back to 1938, Liverpool have won 35, drawn 13 and lost 14.
JURGEN KLOPP VS CRYSTAL PALACE H2H RECORD
The Liverpool boss has met Palace 16 times since arriving on Merseyside and boasts a supreme record against the Eagles.
Despite losing his first meeting 2-1, Klopp has won 12, drawn two and lost two of his past clashes with Palace, all of which have come in the Premier League.
In fact, Klopp has beaten Palace in the Premier League more than any other side - tied with West Ham United on 12.
There have been some handsome victories for Klopp in there too, including a 7-0 win at Selhurst Park, a 4-0 thrashing at Anfield and a 4-3 thriller during the 2018/19 season.
The Reds have also been prolific against Palace, scoring 39 goals and conceding just 14 in Klopp's 16 games against them.
JURGEN KLOPP VS ROY HODGSON H2H RECORD
Klopp has faced off against veteran Hodgson eight times in the past and has won, well, all of the meetings. Pretty emphatically too.
In his seven games against Hodgson's Palace, there have been seven victories, while their most recent clash came in Liverpool's 2-0 win over Watford back in 2022.
This will be their first encounter since Hodgson returned to Selhurst Park, but it could well be the same old story for the 76-year-old.
There are only seven managers that Klopp has enjoyed more wins against, including Eddie Howe and Pep Guardiola.
