Jurgen Klopp has named four injured Liverpool players who could be in line to return to action shortly after the March international break.

Liverpool have been overwhelmed with injuries since the beginning of 2024 and, while several key players have returned recently, Jurgen Klopp is still missing a number of first-team regulars from his squad.

While it has been a major inconvenience to the German over the last few months, Liverpool have coped remarkably well without some influential players and are still capable of winning a quadruple this season.

However, Klopp will still be eager to see some of his injured personnel return to action, with the Liverpool boss offering a positive injury update ahead of Sunday's quarter-final clash with Manchester United in the FA Cup.

Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Klopp revealed that Curtis Jones, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota and Stefan Bajcetic are all nearing a return to fitness after the March international break.

When asked about who could be available for the clash with Brighton at the end of this month, the 56-year-old replied: "Curtis [could be back]. Then the other two, Diogo and Trent for the week after. [There is a] chance.

"Stefan is now pretty much in his pre-season to make him physically ready. At the moment, if he feels something it's not injury, it's intensity.

"He's a young lad, so we have to make sure that we don't use him before he's really ready because what happened before was that the body was not 100 per cent ready for the intensity that professional football is asking for.

"He's in a much better place now, it's been a really long time unfortunately to improve that. But he's in his pre-season and I think he will be part of team training as well after the international break."

The return of all four of the aforementioned players would be a huge boost to the Reds, especially if they can avoid picking up any fresh injury concerns over the upcoming international period.

Klopp also revealed that Bobby Clark and Ryan Gravenberch were fit and ready for the clash with Man Utd this weekend, while Ibrahima Konate is unlikely to be available despite being close to fitness.
