Jurgen Klopp has given us an injury update on Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson and Naby Keita ahead of the Watford game.

Speaking about Trent, as cited by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, Klopp said that he thinks the Scouser will be ready for Tuesday's game against Benfica.

"Trent trained yesterday in parts and will be in full training today. We will see what we do with that," said Klopp.

"He wanted to go with England but he couldn't. He has been out for two weeks, thank god it wasn't longer. It is tight for tomorrow but it is possible.

"I will make the decision. I think he will be ready [for Benfica]."

Klopp also briefly spoke about Robertson after he picked up a small niggle whilst on international duty with Scotland.

"He is fine," Klopp said.

Finally, the German talked about Keita who withdrew from the Guinea squad due to an injury.

"He couldn't train yesterday as he felt something. We will see how it is for today."

When asked what the injury to Naby was, Klopp said they weren't sure yet.

"I am not sure. He trained once and then felt it again. So we have to see."

Anfield Watch Verdict

It's a shame about Naby's injury. He was finally having a good run in the side and starting to look like the player we signed all those years ago.

Hopefully, it's not too bad and he can return to help Liverpool with the final few months of the season.

Thankfully the dynamic full-backs are close to full fitness as having Trent and Robbo fit is going to be key if the Reds want to win every trophy this season.

The pair have 30 assists between them in all competitions this season and with potentially 16 games still to play this term, if the Reds reach the final in every tournament, their goal contributions are going to be huge in all of those games.
