Jurgen Klopp spoke to the media earlier on on Friday with him previewing the clash with Crystal Palace this weekend and also looking back at the win over Arsenal on Thursday.
The Reds put in a fine performance to knock the Gunners out of the EFL Cup, with Diogo Jota getting two goals and Trent Alexander-Arnold getting a pair of assists.
Both stood out with their displays but so did several others, including midfielder Curtis Jones.
Indeed, speaking to the press, Jurgen Klopp took time to praise the local lad's performance:
Jurgen Klopp on Curtis Jones:
"Look, you win a football game, a difficult one. You can only win it if all the players are good but Curtis was really good in the last two games. I'm one of his biggest fans to be honest." #awlive [lfc]

Anfield Watch Verdict
Jones has had a little bit of a frustrating time of things thanks to injuries of late but he's had a good couple of games recently and that will help him a lot.
We know the quality he has, and it's clear Klopp does too.
Certainly, it looks as though he could be featuring more in the coming weeks for the Reds.
