Jurgen Klopp has played down the idea of Liverpool beating Crystal Palace 7-0 once again at Selhurst Park this weekend, with the Reds back in the capital on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool beat Arsenal in north London on Thursday night to seal passage into the EFL Cup final, which will take place at Wembley on Sunday.
However, focus must now quickly return to the Premier League with a tricky-looking game against a handy Crystal Palace team, now under the stewardship of Patrick Vieira.
Of course, Liverpool won 7-0 last time out in this part of south London but Klopp says that a repeat result is far from likely:
Jurgen Klopp on Crystal Palace and the 7-0 win last season:
"That was a one off! These days happen, it's a freak of nature and it doesn't happen usually. Every shot we hit [went in]. They've changed and improved. They look like a really stable team now." #awlive [lfc]

Anfield Watch Verdict
Klopp is right to be making such comments and there is surely next to no chance we'll see another 7-0 scoreline here.
The Reds played well at Selhurst Park last time around but they are a different team and will be backed by good home support this time.
Clearly, it's a different game and a tough one at that, so the Reds must be ready.
