Anfield Watch Verdict
Van Dijk is not only a world-class player, but he is also a great human being.
Shrewsbury Town play in League One, so lot of those players would look up to the Dutchman.
Therefore, it would be fair to assume that the Shrewsbury players would have appreciated Van Dijk making the effort to speak to them after the match.
The Dutchman did not need to make his way into the away dressing room. But, Van Dijk is a humble person.
On another note, the defender was solid in Liverpool's victory over Shrewsbury.
The centre-back registered a WhoScored player rating of 7.29 in the FA Cup fixture.
