Jordan Henderson has joked that Mohamed Salah would not have been happy to not being present to add to his Premier League goal tally at the weekend, with Fabinho taking up penalty duties at Crystal Palace.
The Reds earned a 3-1 victory at Selhurst Park on what was an at-times alarming afternoon in south London.
Certainly, Liverpool rode their luck but perhaps deserved it overall with them using their dominance in the first 30 minutes to good effect and then seeing the Eagles lack the edge in front of goal to really get back into the game.
Things were settled, meanwhile, with a late Fabinho penalty and Henderson praised the Brazilian whilst also making a joke about Salah:

Anfield Watch Verdict
Salah most of all would have been pleased with the win that was recorded but there's surely a part of him wanting to get back to the Premier League to get that Golden Boot challenge going once more.
Of course, his focus right now is on Egypt but when he does return he'll be eager for more glory with Liverpool.
In the meantime, Fabinho looks a good option from the spot.
