Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson has praised both Andy Robertson and Virgil van Dijk for their roles in sending the Reds on the way to victory against Crystal Palace on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds were 2-0 up fairly early on against Palace at Selhurst Park but rode their luck at times after that, with the Eagles finding Alisson in inspired form in the Reds' net.
Indeed, that was an impressive performance from the 'keeper but those in front of him still warranted praise with Robertson's cross and Van Dijk's crashing header the opening goal on the afternoon.
Henderson had this to say about the pair and the goal they put together:
Jordan Henderson:
“A fantastic delivery by Robbo, which is important for us. Set-plays have been big and if you give Virg a free header then nine times out of 10 he will put it in the back of the net, so a great header, a great delivery and that got us under way.” #awlive [lfc] pic.twitter.com/tyLFRU2Kc2

Anfield Watch Verdict
There are few better sights than a well-delivered corner being met firmly with a powerful header and it was a fine first goal on Sunday.
Robertson got another assist soon after, too, with him setting up Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and it was a good performance from the Scot.
Hopefully, there's more of that to come after the international break.
