Jamie Carragher names the player he wants the Reds to sign in the summer

Former Red Jamie Carragher has taken to Twitter to name the player that he would like to see Liverpool sign in the near future.

The 43-year-old said that he would be "fine" if the club were to secure Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham in the upcoming summer transfer window.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Englishman in recent times. Bellingham's contract does not expire until the summer of 2025.

The Englishman possesses a current market value of €75 million.

We would also like to see Liverpool make a move for Bellingham next summer.

The midfielder is a top player. Bellingham has scored four goals and registered nine assists in 25 appearances for the Reds' first-team.

The 18-year-old has also been averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.28 in the Bundesliga this season.

Due to Bellingham's age, it would be fair to assume that he still has plenty of room left for improvement.
