Liverpool assistant boss Pep Lijnders has recently spoken about his new book 'Intensity'.
The Dutchman documented the events of the 2021-22 campaign where Liverpool competed for the quadruple.
Lijnders implied that writing the book is the "best thing" he has done in his life from a coaching point of view.
As quoted by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, he told Liverpoolfc.com the following: "It’s the best thing I ever did in my life from a coaching point of view. I think last year was one of my better seasons as a coach. I had a few good ones, not all were good, but a few good ones. Last year was really good and certainly the book helped.
"It cleared my mind. I wrote down things already before I had to do a meeting with the team, or a training session with the team, so I was really clear with where we were and what we needed in my discussions with Jurgen."

Anfield Watch Verdict
We have read extracts from the book and it appears to be a good read. It is not everyday coaches expose the details of a specific season.
So, the season could have panned out slightly better for Liverpool. It wasn't meant to be.
Despite that being the case, the 2021-22 campaign was full of excitement and drama for the Reds.
So, we highly recommend purchasing Lijnders' book.
