'Instant impact, Should have started': Some Reds on substitute against Arsenal

Some Liverpool fans have been praising Reds midfielder Curtis Jones for his cameo against Arsenal at Anfield last night.

The 20-year-old replaced James Milner 61 minutes into the aforementioned League Cup semi-final first leg clash.

Jones gave a lifeless match a bit of energy when he came on. The midfielder completed two key passes and had two shots on goal against the Gunners.

With that being the case, some Reds fans took to Twitter to laud Jones. However, the game still ended in a 0-0 draw.

We were also impressed with Jones against Arsenal for the aforementioned reasons.

On another note, the midfielder has been solid for Liverpool this season (when picked/available for selection). Jones has scored one goal and registered three assists.

The 20-year-old has also been averaging a WhoScored player rating of 6.87. There is no denying that Liverpool possess a talented youngster.

Also, Jones is a Scouser. Therefore, it would be fair to assume that he would be desperate to become a regular starter for his local club.
