Former Liverpool midfielder Adam Lallana has recently been talking about Reds forward Mohamed Salah.

The Englishman and the Egyptian played together at Anfield between 2017-2020. Lallana has stated that he was "fortunate" to play alongside Salah.

The 33-year-old further added that the winger possesses the right amount of arrogance.

As quoted by Anfield Watch's Twitter account, Lallana told Sky Sports the following: “I was fortunate enough to play with him for three or four years. He's very humble with the right amount of confidence and arrogance.”

Anfield Watch Verdict

Liverpool signed Salah from Roma for a transfer fee of €42 million back in the summer of 2017.

Since then, the forward has found the back of the net 148 times and registered 56 assists in 229 appearances for the Reds' first-team.

The aforementioned figures highlight that Salah is a world-class footballer. Therefore, it must be an honour for any footballer (not just Lallana) to take to the pitch with the Egyptian international.

There is no denying that Salah will go down as one of the best players to have ever represented Liverpool Football Club.

With that being the case, hopefully the 29-year-old goes on to finish his career at Anfield.
