Liverpool midfielder Harvey Elliott has revealed that he wants to finish his career at Anfield.
The Reds signed the Englishman from Fulham for a transfer fee of £1.53 million back in the summer of 2019.
Since then, Elliott has scored one goal and registered two assists in 22 appearances for Liverpool's first-team.
The 19-year-old suffered a serious ankle injury at the beginning of last season. As a result, Elliott missed a total of 30 games during the 2021-22 campaign.
Last week, he revealed that he wants to represent Liverpool for the rest of his career.
He told the club's official website the following: “Hopefully my career ends here. This is why I’ve come here, to be honest, just to make sure I establish myself in this team and play as much as I can for Liverpool.
"That’s all I want to do, I just want to put the shirt on, go out and play and just enjoy myself because at the end of the day I was playing in the back garden as a kid in a Liverpool shirt.
"(I was) scoring goals and pretending to be these players and now I’m playing with them.
"It’s memories I want to write myself and look back on in years to come and think, ‘Yeah, what a dream’ and happy that I’ve dreamt my dream and achieved it."

Anfield Watch Verdict
Elliott is a talented youngster, which is why he is in and around Jurgen Klopp's first-team.
As the youngster revealed, he has been a Liverpool supporter his entire life.
So, hopefully Elliott kicks on and becomes an Anfield legend. But, only time will tell if that is to be the case.
We wish Elliott all the best for the future.
