Liverpool won the aforementioned League Cup semi-final second leg clash 2-0 (aggregate score also) to progress to the final.
Jones was solid against the Gunners. The 20-year-old registered a WhoScored player rating of 6.78 against Arsenal.

He's a baller and will be much better if he knows when to release the ball. He's young and he can learn more

Anfield Watch Verdict
There is no denying that Jones is growing as a player. The midfielder has scored eight goals and registered nine assists in 61 appearances for Liverpool's first-team.
Also, as we have already pointed out, Jones is only 20 years of age. Therefore, it would be fair to assume that the Scouser has plenty of room left for improvement.
Hopefully Jones keeps his head down and continues to develop his game. There is absolutely no reason why the youngster can't become a mainstay in Liverpool's midfield in the years to come.
