"He can be one of the best right-backs in history" - Fabinho on Trent Alexander-Arnold

Fabinho has said that his Liverpool teammate, Trent Alexander-Arnold, can become one of the best right-backs in the history of football if he keeps performing at his current standards.

Speaking at the pre-Inter Milan press conference, as cited by Anfield Watch, Liverpool's Brazilian anchor, Fabinho, has explained how important Trent is to Jurgen Klopp's side.

"He's really important for us, not just with assists, but he can always find the pass between the lines. You think we don't have a solution and then he finds an important pass. He changes the game," said Fabinho.

"He can always find an assist, or he assists and assist. We still have 3/4 months to play so his numbers will be high! It is really hard to find a right-back who plays like this. He looks more like a number 8 or number 10!"

Fabinho also made a very bold claim about Trent becoming one of the best right-backs in the history of football, as cited by Anfield Watch.

"He can be one of the best right-backs in the history [of football] - hopefully he will keep playing like this," said the Brazilian.

Trent hasn't just been one of Liverpool's best players this season, he's been one of the best players in the league.

The 23-year-old is currently sitting on top of the assists leaderboard in the Premier League with 11.

He could even do the unthinkable and beat Kevin de Bruyne and Thierry Henry's assist record, which currently stands at 20 assists during a 38-game season.

With 11 games still to play this season, the record is definitely up for grabs if the Scouser can continue on this amazing run of form.

If he can put the ball into the box, then the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz will do the rest for him.
