'Hasn't contributed enough, Time to go': Some Reds want the club to sell midfielder

Some Liverpool fans have recently been giving their opinions on Reds midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

The Englishman is having an average season for the Reds. Oxlade-Chamberlain has only scored one goal and registered two assists in 23 appearances.

With that being the case, the aforementioned Liverpool supporters don't want the club renew the 28-year-old's contract.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's current deal expires in the summer of 2023. No news stories have suggested that the Reds will offer the midfielder a new contract.

Anfield Watch Verdict

Liverpool signed Oxlade-Chamberlain from Arsenal for a transfer fee of €18 million back in August 2017.

Oxlade-Chamberlain has performed well for the Reds at certain times. The Englishman has found the back of the net 15 times and registered 13 assists in 127 appearances, which is not bad from a midfielder.

With that being the case, we don't want to see the club sell Oxlade-Chamberlain anytime soon. We know what Liverpool's No.15 is capable of.

Also, Oxlade-Chamberlain is only 28 years of age, which highlights that his career is far from finished.

Hopefully the midfielder can get back to his best sooner rather than later.
