Gary Neville offers thoughts on title race after latest Liverpool & Man City results

Gary Neville has said that Liverpool and Chelsea must believe that Manchester City are going to make more mistakes this season in the Premier League, after the latest round of Premier League results.

City drew to Southampton on Saturday evening before Liverpool and Chelsea both won their games on Sunday, with some suggesting that the Reds in particular should still feel as though they can rope in the current league leaders.

Indeed, Neville reckons the chasing pack must believe City could slip up more, but has also said that the Reds have to be at full-pelt to have a chance:

Ultimately, City's squad is far better than anything else in the Premier League and so you should expect them to be leading the way.

Liverpool can get to six points off if they win their game in hand and then, who knows, perhaps City will slip up further.

The Reds need to be perfect themselves though.
