Liverpool are not interested in signing Real Madrid winger Rodrygo, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, as cited by LFC Transfer Room's Twitter account.
The Reds were recently linked with a move for the Brazilian. In fact, it was reported that Liverpool were prepared to pay €80 million for Rodrygo.
However, Romano has confirmed that the Reds will not be signing the 20-year-old anytime soon.
ANFIELD WATCH VERDICT
Rodrygo is a decent player. The winger has scored 11 goals and registered 14 assists in 79 appearances for Real Madrid's first-team.
Rodrygo has also been averaging a WhoScored player rating of 7.66 in the Champions League this season.
Also, as we have already pointed out, Rodrygo is only 20 years of age. With that being the case, it would be fair to assume that the Brazilian still has plenty of room left for improvement.
Therefore, it is a shame to hear that Liverpool are not interested in signing the talented youngster.
