Dominik Szoboszlai admits big difference between Bundesliga and Premier League

Dominik Szoboszlai has admitted there is a big difference between the Premier League and the Bundesliga, claiming "anyone can beat anyone" in the English top flight.

The former RB Leipzig midfielder joined the Reds for £60m during the summer and has made a lightning quick start to life at Anfield.

Not only has the Hungarian provided two sensational long-range goals, he has also laid on two assists in his 14 appearances in red so far - both of which came against Nottingham Forest in a 3-0 win last Sunday.

The 23-year-old has been in devastating form since arriving at Anfield and already looks like one of the bargains of the summer transfer window.

However, while he has made his Premier League transition look seamless, Szoboszlai has admitted that there is a big difference between the Bundesliga and England's top tier.

Speaking with journalist Mark Soos about the differences between the Bundesliga and the Premier League, he stated: "’Speed. Decision-making. You get the ball and you have 2 seconds to think, in the Bundesliga you had 4 seconds to think.

"Also, here every game is do or die. It doesn’t matter who do you play against, anyone can beat anyone, and that’s what I like.’’

The pace of the Premier League is often the thing that slows down a player's development when they first arrive in the division, but Szoboszlai has adapted to its ferocity with no qualms.

One of the midfielder's greatest assets is his attitude, something exemplified by his willingness to play every game and run himself into the ground for the team.

Szoboszlai added: "We have games all the time, even the international games with, personally, I want to play every game possible, even League Cup, FA cup or Europa League, anything. I feel the best if I'm playing all the time."

The 36-cap international has already become a firm fan favourite at Anfield and his desperation to play will only further endear him to the Liverpool supporters.
