Clearly disappointed with the 2-2 draw against at Anfield, in a game their side led 2-0, Liverpool fans have taken to social media to give their verdict on the game. Most fans have pointed out the similarities with the Brentford game, when Liverpool drew 3-3 in a back and forth game.
The draw was Liverpool’s fourth in 10 Premier League games, having already drawn with Chelsea, Manchester City, and Brentford heading into the Brighton game. Jurgen Klopp will hope to see his side tighten up defensively in the coming weeks as they continue to mount a title charge.
As the draws build-up, any attempt at overthrowing Chelsea at the top of the table will become unlikely. The Christmas period, as it always is, will be crucial; Liverpool must prove a point and maintain form throughout. If they do that, then the title could be theirs.
You can see what Liverpool fans thought of the Brighton game, below - responding to The RedmenTv’s post:
Shades of Brentford, thought Keita coming off meant we were far less aggressive in the press plus exposing 2 CBs all the time.

It's a crazy old game. Half hour in we looked like it could be 10 then we seemed to lose our way. Still unbeaten, 3 off the top. Forward march!! Up the reds

Couldn‘t agree more, we‘ve conceded way to many goals from winning positions this season, Milan, Atletico, City, Brentford and now Brighton
Our defense has way too many holes and open spaces, it‘s honestly concerning at times
Look how easy Brighton made it look against us— jojo352 (@jojo__352) October 30, 2021
This and the Brentford draw will come back to bit us. Hard to take 😔
How many times have we thrown away leads this season? 4 draws in 10 games isn't good enough.— kazoorice (@wearewinnin) October 30, 2021
