Belgian league-based attacker could fit profile of Liverpool transfer policy

Belgian-league based Noa Lang could be an attacking target that Liverpool may want to consider, with The Athletic looking at players that might fit the profile for the Reds' upcoming transfer windows.

Liverpool have a fabulous attacking quartet in Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Diogo Jota and Roberto Firmino whilst the likes of Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi supplement those options.

However, there is a growing need to be thinking about the future at Liverpool in terms of first-team players and our attack is one area that might need new faces soon.

According to The Athletic, then, Lang might fit the profile with the Club Brugge ace looking like a real talent over in Belgium, with him also earning caps for The Netherlands.

Anfield Watch Verdict

Few may have heard of Lang at this stage in his career but that is what perhaps makes him exciting.

Liverpool like to move for players that could become stars but haven't yet, and though it sometimes seems risky it has paid off a lot in recent years.

You have to trust the Reds with their transfer pursuits, and Lang could be an interesting proposal if Liverpool ever did want to make a real move for him.
