Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Jordan Henderson's form.
As you can see below, the aforementioned supporters believe that the midfielder has struggled this season.
One Liverpool supporter even claimed that Henderson has been "lazy" in defence.
been awful all season, doesnt bother tracking back as much as he used to and just been lazy overall

His injuries have worn him down and he’s been bath average/ poor all year. He is poor off the ball and causing so many issues defensively

Been poor all season apart from a few games.Massively lacking defensive awareness for wanting to be high up on the pitch like Harvey did and accommodate Trent, when he isn't skilfull enough to do that and carry the ball.Needs to sort all this out when he is playing every week.

Don’t like the slander he’s getting, but he’s been absolutely awful and seems to have taken a step back from leadership. So many goals have came from his side this season and he’s making simple defensive errors such as not running back

You can see that the age have been a problem for Hendo. This season he have been too slow with both pace and decision making. He is no longer top top level and we need someone else. The same thing is not for Hendo, but also Fabinho. This season he has not been good!

Anfield Watch Verdict
We believe that the above responses from the Liverpool supporters are harsh. Henderson has been decent for the Reds this season.
The midfielder has scored three goals and registered four assists in 25 appearances. Henderson has also been averaging a WhoScored player rating of 6.91 in the Premier League.
Also, we don't believe that the Englishman deserves to be criticised too heavily regardless of form. The reality is, Henderson has been a fine servant for the Liverpool.
The Englishman has made 417 appearances for the club's first-team. With that being the case, Henderson deserves more respect.
We wish the midfielder all the best for the remainder of the current season and beyond.
