Liverpool Transfer News: Ruthless Richard Hughes to sell ENTIRE position
Liverpool are gearing up to sell an entire position this summer. A total overhaul.
Liverpool will have a busy summer. Yes, that's heard every single year but it's unavoidable this time around.
Liverpool Transfer Latest: Alexander Isak deal INEVITABLE as agent drops massive hint
Mo Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Trent Alexander-Arnold are all out of contract. It feels incredibly unlikely at this stage that all sign new deals to remain beyond this season.
Then there's the situation with Ibrahima Konate. He's entering the final year of his own contract and Liverpool must do something about that. Either renew or sell - it's difficult to see another option.
There is set to be a big change up top, too. Liverpool have decided to change their attack and while it's not yet clear who's off, virtually everyone in the forward line is up for grabs.

Midfield is the only position that feels secure. Even then, Liverpool tried to add Martin Zubimendi last summer and may well still harbour desires to sign a similar player - if not the Spaniard himself.
But while every position on the pitch faces changes, there's one in particular that is set to see total change.
Liverpool plan exodus
Liverpool are set to completely change their goalkeeper options for next season.
The most obvious exit is Viroslav Jaros. The youngster is out of contract this summer and there is very little talk about a new contract.

Then there's Caoimhin Kelleher, who just about everyone expects to finally leave Liverpool. The Irishman wanted to in 2024 but a sale wasn't sanctioned, mainly because of the asking price.
He's now reportedly rejected a new contract and Kelleher is expected to push forward in pursuit of first-team football. That almost certainly means leaving Anfield.
Then there's Alisson Becker. Interest lingers from Saudi Arabia - and Liverpool made the very interesting signing of Giorgi Mamardashvili last summer that certainly hints at them believing a new no.1 was necessary.
Mamardashvili will arrive at the end of the season and is unlikely to want a bench role. He's the future leading goalkeeper at Liverpool - and that would mean a backseat or sale for Alisson.
That could happen this summer. In fact, fans should probably prepare themselves for it.

Everyone should expect the goalkeeper roles to be vastly different next season, then. Liverpool's three senior options are all heading towards the exit door as Richard Hughes oversees a pretty ruthless overhaul.
And it won't be the last.
