Mo Salah strikes Liverpool agreement after DRAMATIC negotiation shift
Where Mo Salah plays football next season has been one of the most talked about happenings in the entire football world so far this year.
Reds are begging and pleading with the Egyptian to stay on Merseyside amidst a number of offers from elsewhere.

And even though it seems like Salah himself wants to stay at Liverpool - and why wouldn’t you, they’re the best team in the world right now - the lure of earning around year’s salary in a month in Saudi Arabia would test any man’s resolve.
A different rumour about Salah’s future came recently in the form of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).
PSG helped Salah make his decision
The French giants have been a bit of a non-factor in the game at-large this season following the departure of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid. As a result, it’s easy to forget that they are a Qatari-owned side that had Mbappe, Lionel Messi and Neymar on their books just last year.
And a new report in Egypt alleges that a move to Paris was closer for Salah than most have realised - but it was exactly this that confirmed he is staying in Liverpool.
When asked where Salah will go on the ETC TV channel, Karim Said, the editor-in-chief of Egyptian outlet Yallakora, answered:
"He will stay in Liverpool. He gave up the contract length he wanted - Mohamed Salah wanted three years, which was the problem - and was closer to joining Paris Saint-Germain, just to be clear.
"There was something of an agreement with Nasser Al-Khelaifi [President of PSG], but since Salah agreed to shorten the period to one year, as Liverpool management prefers, I believe they will get on the same page and the renewal will take place."
This report has a whole host of interesting information.
The first being Salah reportedly willing to sign a one-year deal with Liverpool and that being what Liverpool’s higher-ups wanted. Despite being 32, a one-year deal would still put Liverpool in this exact same scenario this time next year unless Salah has a monumental drop-off.
The second is Salah actually agreeing. If he did go against his desires for a three-year deal, it shows an intense desire to remain at the club, which is what fans were anticipating.
The third is that he had some sort of agreement with PSG themselves. This may have just been leverage or a bargaining chip, but shows he could have been serious about leaving if something agreeable wasn’t found.
It is a fascinating story with the fairytale ending that everyone wanted - Salah staying at Liverpool.
