EXCLUSIVE: Saudi Pro League ready move for Liverpool's Darwin Nunez
There's interest in Liverpool striker Darwin Nunez from Saudi Arabia. Here's all you need to know.
Darwin Nunez feels like a square peg in a round hole at Liverpool right now. The Uruguayan is struggling to get into the Reds' first XI, with Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz both preferred by Arne Slot for the centre-forward role.

It's something that could bring his time at Anfield to a close. The Reds reportedly set an asking price this week - and now interest is starting to grow.
Anfield Watch understands that there is interest in Darwin Nunez from the Saudi Pro League. They're ready to make a move for the striker, in fact, in what could be a major year in Saudi Arabia.
Several stars are linked with exits from some of the biggest clubs around. Neymar is perhaps top of that list - his contract with Al-Hilal expires in the summer (though, the club holds an option for an extra year).
Exactly where Nunez would go right now isn't entirely clear. Saudi sides must meet foreign player quotas and as stars move around, it can be difficult to judge who has the space for a new signing.
But we do understand that there's a desire to sign Nunez and take advantage of his uncertainty at Anfield. On top of that, Nunez has not said no to the idea.
We'd stop short of saying that's a 'yes' or even a probable one, but he has not outright rejected a move to Saudi Arabia. Watch this space.
Darwin Nunez at Liverpool
Nunez has always been a strange one for Liverpool. His talent is undeniable and few players boast a physical profile as good as his.
But the forward simply isn't reliable. He'll do virtually everything exactly how you want, only to make a glaring mistake when you'd expect a top player to deliver.
Maybe that's because of the wrong pass, maybe it's because of a terrible finish - his unreliability will prove his undoing at Liverpool. The Reds want someone they can trust in that no.9 position, as well as someone who can meet their physical demands.
Nunez will almost certainly face a choice, then. Liverpool can't force him to leave if he doesn't want to, but he is going to face the option of staying or going.
And Saudi Arabia is willing to make that a much easier decision for him.
